UCL Grant Museum of Zoology (loan boxes). Animals and Biodiversity. KS1 & KS2 - From fossils to butterflies, including coral, feathers and skeletons, the box provides a great introduction to the animal world. The pack has a huge range of lesson plans covering Moving and Growing; Habitats and Adaptations; Food Chains; Teeth and Eating and Ourselves.

Linnean Society (loan boxes). Classification, life cycles, plants & habitats. KS1 & KS2. - There are 4 different loan kits available for up to half a term at a time.

Royal Microscope Society (loan boxes). General science. KS1 & KS2 - There are 8 microscopes, 1 digital camera, worksheets for six sessions, other resources including petri dishes and samples to investigate.

Science Museum (museum) Physics and chemistry. EYFS, KS1 & KS2 - A free database of activities, videos and games with tips, tools and demos for teachers.

Opal (website). Biology and environment. KS1 & KS2 - These free packs are created for use in woodland and some need access to particular habitats, such as ponds, but there are also activities that would work in any outdoor setting or even a large indoor space.
